Overview

VIVOTEK’s IP9165-LPR-v2 Kit is a standalone LPR+ camera system, featuring a built-in license plate recognition system along with vehicle type and color recognition. The Traffic VCA LPR+ provides not only license plate reading with white and black-list system for vehicle verification but also the vehicle type and color recognition for traffic flow anlysis or target vehicle tracking application.

It also offers various APIs for integration with 3rd party backend systems. Featuring with the new evidence function can be combined with a snapshot of the connecting camera through the RTSP stream, providing the road overview and LPR result images simultaneously to reinforce the strength of evidence.VIVOTEK’s IP9165-LPR-v2 Kit is designed for the toll management, community security , and smart city applications.

The IP9165-LPR-v2 Kit can read license plates for 100+ countries or states simultaneously. When a number plate is recognized and matched the data in list such as white list, It can convert number plates into Wiegand signals through VIVOTEK Wiegand converter (AO-20W) to work with an access control system.
